How to report an error, what we do about it, and a running log of every correction we have made.

If something on this site is wrong, we want to know, and we will fix it where you can see it.

Report an error

Write to corrections@ww3.press. Tell us which report, which statement and, if you can, where the right information can be found. A link to a primary document is the fastest route to a fix.

What we do

We check the statement against its source and against whatever you send.
If it is wrong, we correct the text and add a dated note at the foot of the report saying what was wrong and what now replaces it.
If the evidence has moved on rather than the report being wrong, we update the report and mark the note as an update.
If we stand by the statement, we reply and explain why.
Spelling and formatting fixes that do not change meaning are made without a note.

We do not quietly rewrite substantive facts, and we do not delete reports. If a report ever has to be withdrawn, its address will keep a note explaining why.

Changing a label

The labels in the claim ledger and on the front-page board follow the evidence. When a label changes, for example from claimed to confirmed, the entry records the date and the evidence that changed it.

Correction log

Update, 20 September 2026 at 15:55 UTC. Moscow says it shot down 450 drones on election day. Some reached the refinery anyway.: Updated the Moscow region death toll from two to three after Reuters reported, citing Governor Andrei Vorobyov, that an injured person died in hospital. The earlier toll is retained as earlier reporting; the figures remain attributed official claims, not independently verified counts.
